Isaac Julien presents a talk on his work in film and media installations, including his stunningly powerful film installation, Lessons of the Hour – Frederick Douglass, on view now at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art through December 10. Julien’s work is represented in major museum collections worldwide, and his 40-year career retrospective is now on view in Germany at the K21 museum in Düsseldorf.
