Resources for getting to the First United Methodist Church

  • Only offers rides to UO students, faculty and staff (requires 95 number)
  • Only takes groups of 3 people or less
  • Operating hours:
    • Fall & Winter Term:
      • Sun-Thurs: 6pm-12am
      • Fri-Sat: 6pm-2am
    • Spring Term:
      • Sun-Thurs: 7pm-12am
      • Fri-Sat: 7pm-2am

To schedule a ride during operating hours:

  1. Call Safe Ride (541-346-7433). Press 2 and a dispatcher will answer.
  2. Have relevant information ready including the time you would like the ride, number of riders, pick-up location, drop-off location, name, phone number and student ID number (95 number).
  3. Safe Ride does not call ahead and the vans are labeled on the side doors. They will have flashing hazard lights on when waiting at your pick-up location.

To schedule a ride before operational hours:

  1. Call Safe Ride (541-346-7433) and press 2 and leave a voicemail.
  2. State the time you would like the ride, number of riders, pick-up location, drop-off location, name, phone number and student ID number (95 number).
  3. They will only call ahead of time if they are unable to schedule your ride.
  • Safe Ride has an Access Shuttle van that includes a wheelchair accessible ramp.
    • Rides for the Access Shuttle must be booked by 5:30pm on the day of the ride by calling the reservation line before operating hours.
    • They will call to confirm that your Access Shuttle reservation has been scheduled.
    • Riders using the Access Shuttle may schedule up to two rides at once and travel with a maximum of two other passengers.

  • Busses come every 10 minutes

    • Weekdays: 6:00am – 12:30am
    • Saturday: 7:00 am – 11:30pm
    • Sunday: 8:00am – 9:30pm
  • From UO campus to First United Methodist Church:
    • Depart from Walnut Station/Agate Station/Dads Gate Station heading Inbound towards Eugene (not Springfield!)
    • Arrive at Eugene Station, Bay N
  1. Head west on W 11th Ave towards Olive Street
  2. Turn left onto Olive Street and First United Methodist Church will be on the right.
  • Adults (ages 19-64):
    • Single Ride: $1.75
    • Day Pass: $3.50
  • Youth (ages 6-18):
    • Single Ride: $0.85
    • Day Pass: $1.75
  • Students, faculty, staff with a UO ID ride free
  • Children 5 and younger and ages 65 and older ride free
