OHC Board of Visitors

The Board of Visitors is a volunteer group of citizens who provide a vital link between the Oregon Humanities Center and the general public. Board of Visitors members serve as OHC advocates by being ambassadors for the Center in the community, attending Center events, contributing financial support, and providing guidance to the Director and Associate Director regarding Center programs and goals.

Board members attend three quarterly meetings during the academic year and participate in the intellectual life of the Center by attending OHC events whenever possible and encouraging friends and family to attend.

Board members are encouraged to help the Center expand its base of support through the nomination of new Board members, the cultivation of new donors, and the identification of fundraising opportunities.
